"Information Express" Town Hall Meetings A Success!

The "Information Express" town hall meetings presented by the Flagler County School Board members recently completed their first phase, and by all accounts was a big success. Thousands of parents, school employees and concerned citizens attended the hour long presentation that alleviated concerns about the current year budget and explained the reality that the district faces if the proposed 12-25 million in proposed state budget cuts become reality.

As more information comes out of Tallahasee and we see what legislation gets passed, the Information Express will be updated to reflect new laws and the latest statewide budget estimates. The board members will once again spread throughout the district to relay the impact of these laws and budgets on our district 2009-2010 budget.
